1 Minute Film - Orange Altitude

Creatives need personal projects to grow, challenge and inspire.

Owner and operator Geraldine, here! I’m so honored to be nominated by my Orangetheory Fitness studio @otfwoodridge for their #MoreLife Membership Appreciation spotlight. While part of being featured is capturing a “why I love OTF” video clip at the studio, I wanted to create my own. I hope this 1 minute touches you in some way, and shows why OTF holds a special place in my heart.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude when I think of these people, for without them, I know I would not have made it to the top!

❤️The entire team at @pristinetrails, especially my guides Kim, Passat, and Juma — the superstars that make getting to 5895 meters | 19,340 feet look easy

❤️My awesome OTF coaches who inspire me literally, everyday with their energy and passion, and challenge me to run/bike/row farther/faster and lift heavier: Coach Rudy @rudes713, Coach Marielle @m_emory14, Coach Lewis @the_freakin_rican, Coach Nick @nickcarroll93

❤️And last but not least, my cousin, tent roommate, and fellow mountain camera operator @micolim, for wanting to climb Kilimanjaro too. We did it! :) Thank you for being part of this journey of a lifetime.

With All My Splat Points,

G.

It was almost a year ago when this picture was taken. Time flies and these two beautiful ladies were married over the summer!

"She Said Yes" was a personal project and the concept was born after discussing portraits for a save the date card / engagement announcement. But these were two amazing friends -- how could we just do an ordinary portraits?

Friends and supporters of Life Made Still helped create this image. In no way is this a one person production! Working with sparklers takes patience. If you are the "sparkler master", you have to be able to write backwards! And if you are the photographer, you have to get your exposures right and direct everything to a T, because it is all about light and timing.  And if you are the subject of the photo, in this case, you need a good winter jacket and tolerance to the cold:)

Thank you to all who helped with creating this amazing photo. And congratulations to this stunning couple in red dresses.
